Our Committment to Pastors
We are dedicated to developing and strengthening pastors by providing practical tools, guidance, and support to help them lead effectively and grow confidently in their pastoral assignments.
BENEFITS
Joining The One Church United Fellowship of Churches and Ministries (OCUF) offers small churches and their leaders a supportive, resource-rich, and empowering community. Our covenant connection provides the tools needed to equip, expand, and maximize ministry impact. Benefits include:
1. Spiritual Covering and Accountability
While OCUF operates as a fellowship, churches and pastors seeking spiritual covering will receive it through the leadership of our Presiding President and supporting OCUF leadership. This covering offers spiritual guidance, encouragement, and accountability.
2. Encouragement and Support
We are committed to being a source of consistent encouragement—from the organization to pastors, and from member to member. Support is offered through personal phone calls, Zoom check-ins, prayer, and shared experiences to help leaders stay refreshed and focused.
3. Guidance and Counsel
OCUF provides wisdom through a diverse leadership team with various gifts and experiences. In alignment with Proverbs 11:14, we encourage churches to seek counsel from OCUF before major decisions such as hiring, facility changes, or new ministry initiatives.
4. Church Development and Administrative Support
We assist churches with the tools and training needed to improve internal operations. Areas of support include:
- Church administration
- Financial systems and accounting
- Technology and computer skills
- Leadership development
- Marketing and social media
Our goal is to help your church grow both spiritually and organizationally.
5. Pastoral and Leadership Training
OCUF provides ongoing training to enhance the effectiveness of pastors and leaders. Workshops, conferences, and virtual training sessions are scheduled throughout the year, focused on practical skills and spiritual development.
6. Gatherings and Fellowship Events
We host regular opportunities for churches to come together for Word, worship, and impartation. These events strengthen relationships across the fellowship and create spaces for spiritual renewal and collaboration.
7. Resource Access
Members receive exclusive access to a variety of practical tools including:
- Templates
- Policies and procedures
- Administrative forms
- Ministry applications
- Planning guides
Shared resources empower churches to function more effectively without starting from scratch.
8. Networking and Relationship Building
We value authentic connections. Through OCUF, you’ll build relationships with fellow pastors and churches inside and outside the fellowship. These connections create opportunities for mutual growth, collaboration, and ministry expansion.
9. Website Visibility and Member Portal
Your church will be featured on the OCUF website, including your pastor’s name, church name, and contact information. Members will also gain access to a private portal with exclusive resources and updates.
10. Special Event Access
OCUF members receive priority seating at OCUF-hosted and partner church events. To access this benefit, members must notify the event organizers in advance.
FINANCIAL COMMITTMENT
OCUF feels strongly about not being an additional financial burden on member churches; however, no organization can run successfully without financial support. Your financial commitment to the OCUF will not only allow you to partner in the vision, but also contribute to its expansion.
Each member of the OCUF will be required to submit an annual assessment of $300 (or $25 per month) per year. All annual assessments are due by March 1 of each new calendar year. Annual Assessments will cover the following:
- Annual State Renewal Fees
- Website (Domain, Registration and Hosting)
- Guest Speakers
- Assist member churches in financial need
Financial commitments begin one year after a church or ministry joins the fellowship. This allows time to fully experience the benefits and added value that OCUF brings to you and your church/ministry.
